His practice moves between the surreal and the organic, drawn to the moments where one form begins to become another. What began with imagined bodies, subconscious landscapes, and strange worlds has grown into an exploration of ecology, memory, material, and intuitive modes of knowing.
Growing up in Goa, forests, coastlines, laterite, and ritual became an instinctive language. He works intuitively, allowing pigment, gesture, accident, and repetition to guide the image. Forms surface slowly, part body, part organism, part landscape as though they have been unearthed rather than invented.
His work asks where the body ends and the landscape begins; what a stone might remember, what a pigment might carry, and what worlds might exist beyond the ones we already know.
Between the remembered and the imagined, the familiar and the strange, his practice searches for ways of seeing that are felt before they are understood.
